Topic: Mayor's Office of Environmental Stewardship

Leslie Strader is a Policy Advisor working in the Mayor's Office of Environmental Stewardship at the City of Columbus. Mayor Michael B. Coleman created the Office of Environmental Stewardship in 2005 to advance sustainability initiatives throughout each city department and within the community. Leslie began working for the City of Columbus in 2010 and, since that time, has contributed to notable projects including the launch of CoGo Bike Share, Columbus car2go service and RecyColumbus, the city's residential recycling program. Prior to working for the City of Columbus, Leslie spent four years with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission educating and engaging the community in the areas of air quality, energy conservation, water quality, sustainable growth and materials management. Leslie received a Master's of Public Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University.
